Itinerary

Entering Petra through the Siq, you will arrive at the famousTreasury. The Treasury is the most famous facade in Petra and one of the reasons, Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.  Tour Petra with over 800 statues, facades, temples,the Roman theater, tombs, caves, and more...  The Nabateans inhabited Petra over 2000 years ago, and prospered from building the water conduit system.  They sold water to the passing caravans, merchants, and travelers.  After the eathquake in 363 A.D. Petra fell into a decline. The thought, that there was not enough money to rebuild Petra, so most people just moved on.
 

06:40:  Flight from Ben Gurion (Tel-Aviv).  Please be at the airport 1 hour before the flight.
08:15:  Pick up from Eilat Airport and transfer from Eilat to Arava border with our professional crew.
08:30:  Border passing, includes border control and customs. This process may take up to an hour, so your patience is required and appreciated.
09:00:  Transfer from border to Petra in our newest models of air-conditioned cars / vans / buses. Transportation time approximately 2.3 hours, passing through a vast and comfortable high way ("desert way"). Following through a scenic route on the mountain side, and arriving at Petra's historical site, known as one of The Seven Wonders Of The World.
11:30:  Tour of Petra begins at the entrance to the site. Included in your package is an optional horse-back ride.Ride for the first 200 meters of the route (Tipping the carrier is required, ranging from 2-5 dollars at your discretion).

15:30:  Lunch at a local authentic restaurant. (extra fee of 17$ per person)
16:30:  We begin our return trip towards the border.  This route includes a few stops along the way, at certain observation points, so you could enjoy the beautiful landscape, Wadi Ram has to offer. 
19:00:  Back to the airport for your flight to Tel Aviv.

20:55 Flight back to Tel Aiv.
