Itinerario

Jerash is a city that is famous for its ruins. The ruins were discovered by archeologists in 1806, and are over 5000 years old. The city was at one time buried by wars, earthquakes, and the weather. There are two theaters - North and South, a hippodrome, and an oval forum. Of course there is much more, too many to name.
Petra is one of the most famous of tourist attractions, being named one of The Seven Wonders of The World. Get your first view of the Treasury by walking through the Siq, a pathway, that is a crack in the sandstone mountain. There is so much to tour in Petra, including a Roman theater, facades, temples, tombs, mourning halls, and so much more.

Day 1:

08:15 Depart from Amman or Eilat. (Depart from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv for an extra fee from Sheik Hussein border crosing)

After border procedures, we continue to Jarash for a visit to the preserved ruins of this great Roman City (approx. 2 hours), then proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:

Breakfast in Hotel. Visit Petra, "The Red Rose City", take a horse ride through the "Siq" (Canyon), and arrive to see the Pink Stone Treasury, the Roman Theater and more (approx. 3-4 hours). At around 2 pm we will eat lunch at a local restaurant and then, we leave Petra towards Amman / Eilat / Sheik Hussein Bridge / or Allenby border crossings and, after completing border procedures, transfer to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
