Tour Overview

Take a tour to see the 2 sides of Hebron, the Jewish side, and the Palestinian side.  Hear from both sides, as to their opinion of the conflict that continues to thwart both sides.  Talk to the people who live in Hebron, and tour the sites.

Itinerary

Tour Hebron with a licensed guide to get a better perspective  on what is going on in the Middle East.  The first part of the tour will be in the Jewish section of Hebron.  We ask that you dress accordingly, covered knees, elbows, and shoulders. Please do not wear shorts or tank tops, women should wear pants or a skirt that covers their knees. No shawls, as they are see through, and can be problematic.  You will be entering some very religious areas, and we would like to keep it respectful.

Enter one of the holiest cities in Judaism and Islam.  Hear from both sides, to give you a balanced insight as to the problems and life in Hebron, and what the people deal with every day.  We will enter Hebron in a bullet-proof bus.  Visit the Tombs of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob, and Leah,  also Adam and Eve, that are all said to be buried in a cave.  Continue on to tour the neighborhoods of the Jewish settlers, the Avraham Avinu Quarter, and a restored synagogue.  Tour also the Museum that is about Jewish life in Hebron before the 1929 riots, the Beit Hadassah.  In Beit Romano tour the Shavei Hevron Yeshiva.  Tour the hilltop of Tel Rumeida, which is the archeological site from the Bronze Age.  Also visit the tombs of Ruth and Jesse from the bible.
As we cross to the Palestinian side, a Palestinian guide will take over the tour, and you will enter the busy city center.  There is an option to enjoy a home cooked lunch, made by a Palestinian family.  There will be a chance to speak with the locals.  We will walk up to a rooftop to get a full view of the city, and learn about the conditions, and difficulties of the residents and shop owners.  Tour the Muslim side of the Tomb of the Patriarchs, the Ibrahimi Mosque.

Israeli passport holders are forbidden on this tour.
The bus in Hebron is an extra fee of about $5 per person.  Lunch is an option, for a fee of $9 per person.
