Take a 9 day deluxe tour of Israel with licensed guides. Hotels, transportation, breakfast, and most lunches are included. We will take care of you from the moment you land in Israel, until the day of departure.
This tour is flexible according to your plans. You can add days and subtract days. The order of the tour may be changed according to the day the tour is started on. There is an option to upgrade the hotels.
Day 1: Arrival at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv.
There will be a driver waiting to meet you in the Ben Gurion airport, to take you to your hotel in Tel Aviv.
Day 2: Caesarea, Acre, and Haifa
07:15 a driver will be waiting to take you to Caesarea, tour the Roman city to view the theater, the hippodrome, and the remains of a Roman temple. Drive to Haifa to see the Baha’I gardens and shrine. Stop at Rosh Hanikra and ride a cable car down to the grottos. The last city of the day is to Acre, tour the Crusader City and the Turkish prison. Drive back to the hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.
Day 3: Nazareth and Sea of Galilee.
After breakfast, at 07:15 pick up from your hotel, and drive with a view of Megiddo. Stop at the Mount of Precipitation. Arriving in Nazareth tour the Church of Annunciation, and next to it the Church of St. Joseph. Drive to the Sea of Galilee, and visit Capernaum at the bottom of Mount Beatitude. Walk through the home of Peter and the Benedictine Church. Back along the Sea of Galilee, and pass Tiberias, we will arrive at Yardenit. For those who wish may be baptized in the Jordan River. On returning pass Mount Tabor that was the site of the Transfiguration. Overnight at your hotel in Tel Aviv.
Day 4: Safed, Tiberias, Mt. Meron.
At 07:15 a driver will be waiting for you. Drive to Tiberias and view the graves of 2 prominent sages. Visit the grave of Rabbi Baal Hanes who was a student of the great Rabbi Akiva, who is buried nearby. Men and women are separated here, and there are also separate study areas for the different sects. There is a mini market that sells all forms of religious articles, and artifacts. Continue on to the tomb of Rabbi Mosh E Maimon, the rambam. In Safed tour the old city, and stop at the synagogue of the Ari Hakadosh, there is also a visitors’ center and an artist gallery. Arrive at Mount Meron to view the grave of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. This is a place of an annual pilgrimage. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 5: Bethlehem and Jericho.
07:15 a driver will pick you up from your hotel. Drive towards the Dead Sea and pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Stop at the Sea Level marker before continuing to Jericho. Stop at Mt. Temptation, which is located above Jericho. Tour some of the amazing excavations in Jericho, that are thousands of years old. Travel on to tour Bethlehem, the Church of Nativity, and the Church of St. Catherine. When leaving Bethlehem pass the Milk Grotto and Shepherd’s Fields. There is no lunch included on this day. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 6: Masada and Dead Sea. 07:15 is the pickup time. Drive towards the Dead Sea, arrive at Masada and ride the cable car to the top. Tour the palaces, the bath house, a synagogue, Roman barracks, and more. On the way to the Dead Sea, pass Ein Gedi, and the caves at Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Enjoy a swim in the Dead Sea, the saltiest body of water on Earth. Even if you can’t swim you can float. Back to hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.
Day 7: Tel Aviv. Pick up between 08:00-08:30. Wait for your driver, he will be there to pick you up. Go on a tour of the Diaspora Museum. This is a museum that shows the culture and history of the Jewish people. Drive through the main streets of the city, including the entertainment section and the business center. Stop at the place where the assassination of Yitzchak Rabin took place. Tour Old Jaffa with its ancient ruins, and take a stroll through the artists’ quarter. Tour in Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Visit Nahalat Binyamin to see the artifacts, handmade jewelry, and the musicians playing in the streets. Stop at Sheinkin, a street with a youthful atmosphere, unique shops, and cafes. Back to hotel in Tel Aviv.
Day 8: Jerusalem: Pick up at 07:15 from your hotel. Drive to Jerusalem and start with a view of the Old City. Continuing the drive you will be able to see the Gardern of Gethsemane , the Mount of Olives, and the Church of all Nations. Entering the Old City through the Lions’ Gate, we will pass the Armenian Quarter to the Byzantine Cardo. Continue walking through to the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Stations of the Cross, finally arriving at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Take a short walk through the market of the Old City, and then we will go to tour the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Back to your hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.
Day 9: Transfer to Ben Gurion airport.
