Itinerario

Petra was abandoned by the Nabateans thousands of years ago. They left us with the amazing site of Petra. The Nabateans were very industrious scrabblers and brave warriors. They prospered from building cisterns, to hold the rainwater. Then they sold the water to passing merchants and travelers. Petra is located in the middle of the desert, a 3 hour drive from Amman, or a 2 hour drive from Aqaba. Seeing the Treasury, makes you understand, how Petra has become one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Pick up from your hotel in Aqaba will be at about 09:30 a.m

Tour Petra with a licensed guide. There are hundreds of : buildings, facades,crypts, baths, mourning halls, temples, and, of course, the Roman theater (with three thousand seats, built in the 1st century B.C.) - all of them are of great interest.

After visiting Petra for 3 to 4 hours you will have lunch at a local restaurant with an extensive selection of oriental dishes.
