ОПИСАНИЕ ЭКСКУРСИИ

Dead Sea is located in Southern Israel.  It has been a place of refuge for thousands of years.The kings and their noble use to come to the resort of the Dead Sea to get some peace and quiet.  Today people from all over the world come here to soak in the Dead Sea and receive treatments in the Spa.  The water is said to cure most ailments with its high content of minerals.  
Masada is the place where the Romans laid siege for months to capture it from the Judeans.  It is located in the middle of the desert high up on a plateau.  King Herrod built 2 palaces on Masada for his own use  There are two ways to reach Masada, one is in a cable car, or by walking up the snake path, or there is another path on the side of the mountain.

Day 1: Masada
From Eilat at 6:00 a.m. a driver will be waiting to take you to Masada.  Meet the guide as you arrive at Masada.  Ascend Masada by cable car to tour the 2000 year old  fortress where the Jewish Zealots were overcome by the Romans.
Visit ruins of King Herod's palace and synagogue,bath house,water cisterns and the breaching point.
Day 2: Dead Sea
Leisure day at the Dead Sea.  Lay on the beach, take a mud bath, and lay in the Dead Sea waters where the temperature is warm like bath water.
Day 3: Dead Sea
Leisure day at the Day Sea.  In the afternoon you will have a transfer back to Eilat.
