Itinerario

Jerusalem is one of the holiest cities in the world.  This is a special tour that shows the rarely seen excavations of the Old City, and some of the first houses ever built here.  The tour will take you under the Old City and to the ancient burial tombs of some well known people of Jewish history.  At the religious sites there is a separation of men and women.

Drive for a view of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and the Old City.  See the Mount of Olives and the ancient Jewish cemetery. Next to the Mount of Olives is the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.  We will stop on Mount Zion at the Tomb of David.  See David's crown and his lyre, going up to "Room of the Last Supper".

Walk through the Old City, by entering the Zion gate, and tour the synagogues that have been restored.  See the excavated Byzantine Cardo.  Walk down through the Jewish Quarter and tour the ancient houses with the original mosaic floors.  Go to the Western Wall, you can place a note in the wall if you wish.  Exiting by the Dung Gate we will tour the City of David excavations, that are over 3000 years old.
