Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Jerusalem Full Day Tour?

The tour runs approximately 9–11 hours depending on your pickup location. From Tel Aviv, expect about 10–11 hours from pickup to drop-off, including travel time.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes, the standard tour is family-friendly. However, on Mondays and Thursdays when the tour visits Yad Vashem, children under 12 are not permitted due to the sensitive Holocaust content. Plan accordingly or book a different day if traveling with young children.

What languages is the tour conducted in?

Tours are bilingual. English is always included, with a second language (Spanish, French, or German) depending on the day of the week.

Can I visit the Temple Mount / Dome of the Rock on this tour?

No, the Temple Mount has separate visiting hours and restrictions, and is not included in this itinerary. We offer a dedicated Temple Mount tour on Wednesdays for those interested.

What happens if the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is crowded?

The church is open, but entry into Christ's Tomb (the Holy Edicule) depends on crowd levels. Your guide will do their best to allow time for this, but it cannot be guaranteed during peak periods.

I’ve done enough “big highlight” day tours to know the difference between a rushed checkbox run and a day that actually lands. This one felt thoughtfully paced from the start. Pickup in Tel Aviv was early (as expected for a full-day Jerusalem run), and the ride up was comfortable with just enough context from the guide to make the landscape and history feel connected, not like a Wikipedia lecture. Once we reached Jerusalem, the day unfolded in a way that made sense: viewpoints first to get your bearings, then the Old City when the energy is at its best. Walking through the stones and narrow lanes is intense in the best way, and our guide handled it with a steady rhythm, giving us the story behind what we were seeing, but also letting us take it in. The Western Wall was a real moment, not something you’re pushed past. Later in the Old City, we moved through key sites with clear explanations and respectful tone, and I appreciated that nobody was rushed when a stop naturally became more emotional for some travelers. We had time for photos, a proper break, and a simple lunch stop (nothing fancy, but exactly what you want mid-day: quick, filling, and back on track). What I liked most was how practical the day felt. The guide was the kind you trust: clear instructions, firm about meeting times (which matters in a busy city), but warm and genuinely engaged. By the end, I was tired in the satisfying way you get after a day of real walking and real history, and I came back to Tel Aviv feeling like I’d actually experienced Jerusalem, not just “visited it.”
