Can I visit the Galilee on a day trip from Tel Aviv?
Yes. The Sea of Galilee is about two hours from Tel Aviv. A day tour typically covers Nazareth, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes and the Jordan River, then returns in the evening.
How many days should I spend in northern Israel?
One day covers the main Christian sites around the Sea of Galilee. Two or three days let you add the Golan Heights, Banias, Haifa, Akko and Caesarea at a relaxed pace.
What is the best season for the Galilee?
Spring is the most beautiful, with green hills and wildflowers. Autumn is warm and dry. Summer is hot around the lake but pleasant in the Golan.
