1. About these terms
These terms apply to every booking made on booking-tours.com with Booking-Tours, Eilot St. 29, Eilat 88203, Israel (“we”, “us”, “our”). By ticking the box at checkout and paying, you accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your booking. Each tour page also lists its own inclusions, exclusions, meeting details and cancellation policy. If a tour page says something different from these terms, the tour page applies to that tour.
2. Booking and confirmation
- Your booking is confirmed when your payment succeeds and you receive our confirmation email.
- Tours that include flights are confirmed once the airline seats are secured. If we cannot secure them, we will offer another date or give you a full refund.
- Please check names, dates, traveler numbers and contact details before you pay. Traveler names must match passports for any tour with a border crossing or a flight.
- We send pickup times and final details by email, SMS or WhatsApp, so please give us a mobile number you will have with you while traveling.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars and include all taxes unless the tour page says otherwise.
- Items marked as not included are paid separately. Examples are border and visa fees for Jordan (about $140 per person, paid in cash at the border unless you pre-pay them as a booking extra), tips, optional activities and meals not listed.
- Full payment is taken at booking by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link through our payment provider, Stripe. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
4. If you cancel
Tell us by email at [email protected] or on WhatsApp. The time we receive your message (Israel time) is the time we use to work out any fee.
4.1 Day tours
This applies to day tours and activities that do not include flights or an overnight stay.

4.3 Refunds
Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show the money in your account.
4.4 Goodwill exceptions
The cancellation rules above apply to every booking. Any exception, such as moving a date or issuing a credit, is at our discretion and is confirmed to you in writing.
5. No-shows and late arrival
Please be ready at your pickup point at the start of the pickup window we send you, or at the meeting point at the time shown. Tours keep to a schedule, especially at borders and airports, so we cannot wait long. If you are not there, the booking counts as a no-show and is not refunded. Our drivers and staff record pickup attempts and the time of each attempt.
6. Passports, borders and visas
- You are responsible for carrying a valid passport, with at least 6 months of validity, for any tour that crosses into Jordan or Egypt or includes a flight.
- Visa rules depend on your nationality. Please check them before booking or ask us. Israeli citizens must use their Israeli passport.
- If border authorities refuse entry because of your documents, nationality or conduct, the booking is not refundable. We will suggest alternatives where we can.
- Border opening hours can change at short notice, for example during holidays. If this affects your tour, we will contact you with options.
7. If we cancel or change your tour
We may need to cancel or change a tour because of weather, security conditions, border closures, strikes, too few travelers or other events outside our control. If we cancel, or make a major change such as removing a main site, you choose one of these:
- another date or a similar tour;
- a travel credit valid for 12 months;
- a full refund of the tour price.
Small changes, such as the order of visits, timings or replacing a guide or vehicle with an equivalent one, are not major changes. We are not responsible for other travel costs you booked separately, such as hotels or flights, so we recommend travel insurance.
8. Your responsibilities on tour
- Choose tours that suit your health and fitness. Some sites involve long walks, steps, heat or uneven ground. Tell us about any needs before you travel.
- Follow the guide’s safety instructions and local rules, including modest dress at religious sites.
- We may refuse to take, or remove from a tour, anyone whose behavior puts others at risk or breaks the law. There is no refund in that case.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Prices and minimum ages for children are shown on each tour page.
9. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical costs and lost belongings, especially for non-refundable tours.
10. Our responsibility
We work with licensed local guides, transport companies, hotels, airlines and attractions, which also have their own terms. We take care in choosing them and are responsible for arranging your tour as described. Our total liability for any claim connected to a booking is limited to the price you paid for that tour. This does not limit liability where the law does not allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
11. Complaints
If something is not right during your tour, tell your guide or message us straight away so we can try to fix it on the spot. If you are still unhappy, email [email protected] within 14 days after the tour. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
12. Payment disputes
Please contact us first if you think a charge is wrong. We can usually solve it faster than a bank. If a dispute is raised with your card issuer, we may share your booking records with them, including your acceptance of these terms at checkout, booking confirmation, pickup records and our messages with you.
13. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your own country.
