Israel Package Tours
This Jerusalem Bethlehem Jericho 2 day tour follows the Bible from the stone lanes of Jerusalem's Old City down to Jericho, the Jordan River and the birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem. You get two fully guided days with a licensed English-speaking guide, hotel pickup in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, and one night in a tourist class hotel with breakfast. It is one of the most complete short pilgrim routes you can book in Israel.
Day 1 is all Jerusalem, old and new. Take in the view from the Mount of Olives, walk from Zion Gate through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to the Western Wall, follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, then finish at Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial. Day 2 heads into the Judean Desert to Wadi Qelt, the sycamore of Zacchaeus in Jericho and the baptism site at Qasr al-Yahud, before ending in Bethlehem at the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds' Field.
The Jerusalem Bethlehem Jericho 2 day tour suits Christian pilgrims, first-time visitors and anyone who wants the key biblical sites without planning border crossings or bus routes. Squeezing Jericho and Bethlehem into a Jerusalem day means rushing past almost everything. With a hotel night in between, you get real time at the Holy Sepulchre and Yad Vashem, and you reach the desert and the Jordan River fresh the next morning.
Choose pickup from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem when you book. The price is per person and depends on your room type: double, triple or single. The booking form shows the exact price for your date, room and pickup city. Because the hotel night is pre-paid, this Jerusalem Bethlehem Jericho 2 day tour is non-refundable, so please check your dates before you book. Short on time? Numbers match the itinerary below. Solid lines are walking legs, dashed lines are drives. Map is for orientation only.
Your guide collects you from your hotel, around 07:15 in Tel Aviv or 08:30 in Jerusalem. Pickups can start 30 to 60 minutes earlier, and we confirm your exact time the day before. Keep your passport with you from the start.
The day opens with the classic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, above the ancient Jewish cemetery. Below you are the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations and the Kidron Valley, with the Temple Mount straight ahead. Your guide explains where the First and Second Temples stood and why they fell.
Enter the walled Old City through Zion Gate and cross the Armenian Quarter into the Jewish Quarter. Walk the 1,500 year old Byzantine Cardo, where Crusader shop vaults now hold modern stores. Then stand at the Western Wall, the Herodian retaining wall where Jews have prayed for nearly 2,000 years.
Follow the Way of the Cross past several Stations to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built over the traditional sites of the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus. Much of the Crusader church still stands on Byzantine foundations. Your guide times the visit to work around the busiest moments.
Wind through the market lanes toward Jaffa Gate, with time to grab lunch at your own cost or shop for spices and olive wood. Outside the walls, a short drive shows you the modern city that grew up around the old one.
The day closes at Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. Photos, artifacts and personal stories document the destruction of Jewish communities across Europe, and the site honors the Righteous Among the Nations who risked their lives to help. Children under 10 are not admitted, and the center closes on Saturdays and Jewish holidays, so the program is adjusted on those dates.
Check in to your tourist class hotel and enjoy a free evening to rest or explore on your own. The hotel name and location are confirmed on your booking voucher. Breakfast is served the next morning before day 2 starts.
After breakfast the road drops east past the Inn of the Good Samaritan into the bare hills of the Judean Desert. Pause at the sea level marker, then look into Wadi Qelt, where the 5th century Monastery of Saint George clings to the canyon wall.
Reach Jericho, about 258 meters below sea level and one of the oldest cities in the world. See the old sycamore tied to Zacchaeus, the tax collector who climbed a tree to see Jesus, and hear how Joshua's trumpets brought down the walls. Your guide points out the Mount of Temptation on the cliffs above town.
Continue to Qasr al-Yahud, the site on the Jordan River where tradition says John baptized Jesus. The kingdom of Jordan sits just a few meters away on the far bank. Many pilgrims find this the quietest and most personal stop of the trip.
Head back up into the Judean Mountains to Bethlehem. From Manger Square you step through a low doorway into the Church of the Nativity, built in the 4th century over the grotto where a silver star marks the birth of Jesus. The grotto visit is not always possible on very crowded days. Next door, the Church of Saint Catherine leads down to the cave where Saint Jerome translated the Bible into Latin.
The last stop is Shepherds' Field, where an angel announced the birth of Jesus to shepherds on the first Christmas night. It is a calm, green spot to end two days of biblical history.
The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, usually in the early evening depending on traffic. You will have covered three of the most famous cities in the Bible in just two days.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.

Yes. Bring your passport on both days. Jericho, Qasr al-Yahud and Bethlehem are in the West Bank, and you will pass checkpoints. Knees and shoulders must be covered for men and women at churches, the Western Wall and some museums, so skip shorts and sleeveless tops or you may be refused entry.

Bring your passport, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, a refillable water bottle and some cash for food and small purchases. A light scarf helps with the dress code. Pack an overnight bag for the hotel night.
