Israel Package Tours
Reading the Gospels is one thing, standing where they happened is another, and this 5 day Christian Israel tour brings you to the places at the heart of the story. In five fully guided days you visit Nazareth and the shores of the Sea of Galilee, walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane and enter the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Along the way you also see Masada and float in the Dead Sea.
Day 1 heads north to Nazareth, Capernaum and the Jordan River, where you can join a baptism. Day 2 covers Jerusalem's Old City and modern city and ends at Yad Vashem. Day 3 crosses the Judean Desert to Masada and the Dead Sea. Day 4 follows the last days of Jesus from the Mount of Olives to the Pools of Bethesda and the Way of the Cross. Day 5 takes you to Jericho, then to Bethlehem for the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds' Field.
This 5 day Christian Israel tour is made for pilgrims, church groups, couples and families who want depth without planning every detail. Five days is long enough to see both the Galilee and Jerusalem properly, with a full day in the footsteps of Jesus and a full day in Bethlehem and Jericho. You still get a desert day at Masada and the Dead Sea. A guide and hotel are already arranged each night, so you can focus on the places themselves.
Day 1 pickup is from your hotel in Tel Aviv at around 07:15 or in Jerusalem at around 08:30, and the exact time is confirmed the day before. You stay 4 nights in tourist class hotels with breakfast, listed on your voucher. Choose a double or single room, and the booking form shows the per person price. Because the hotel nights are pre-paid, the 5 day Christian Israel tour is non-refundable. Want something shorter? See the Christian Jerusalem day tour, the Christian Galilee tour or our Christian Jerusalem 2 day tour. Choose an open date on the calendar and book your seats today.
Numbers match the itinerary below. Solid lines are walking legs, dashed lines are drives. Map is for orientation only.
Pickup from Tel Aviv hotels is at around 07:15, and the Jerusalem pickup time is confirmed the day before. Pickups can begin 30 to 60 minutes earlier. The road runs north along the coast and across the Jezreel Valley, the biblical Armageddon.
Stop at the Mount of Precipice, where an angry crowd tried to throw Jesus off the cliff. In Nazareth you visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, built where the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, and the Church of St. Joseph next door.
Pass through Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine, on the way to Capernaum at the foot of the Mount of Beatitudes. Here you see the remains of the house of Peter and learn about the miracle of the loaves and fishes.
Drive along the Sea of Galilee past Tiberias, with the Golan Heights across the water. At the southern end, where the Jordan River leaves the lake, you can take part in a baptism ceremony if you wish.
On the way back you see Mount Tabor, the traditional place of the Transfiguration. Then you ride on to your hotel for the night.
Check in to your tourist class hotel, named on your booking voucher. The evening is free, and breakfast is served before day 2.
After hotel pickup, start above the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives. The Old City, the Temple Mount and the Garden of Gethsemane spread out below you.
Walk into the Old City of Jerusalem through Zion Gate and the Armenian Quarter. You follow the Byzantine Cardo through the Jewish Quarter and stop at the Western Wall, built by Herod to hold up the Temple Mount.
Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which holds Golgotha and the tomb of Christ. Your guide explains how the Crusaders rebuilt the church on its Byzantine base.
Exit through Jaffa Gate for a short drive around the new city, then visit Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial. It also honors the Righteous Among the Nations who risked their lives to save Jews.
Return to your hotel for a free evening. Breakfast is served before the desert day.
After hotel pickup, drive down from Jerusalem through the wilderness, past the Inn of the Good Samaritan and the sea level marker. Jericho, where Jesus healed the blind, lies in the distance.
Take the cable car up to Masada, King Herod's palace fortress on a desert cliff. Hear how Jewish rebels held out here against Rome. The park entrance with the cable car is paid on the day and is not part of the package price.
Pass the Ein Gedi oasis and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then stop at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, where the salty water lets you float with no effort.
Back at your hotel, rinse off the salt and rest your feet. Breakfast is served before the walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
After hotel pickup, start at the top of the Mount of Olives in the Chapel of the Ascension, where a stone is said to hold the last footprint of Jesus. Nearby, the Pater Noster church shows the Lord's Prayer on plaques in more than 100 languages.
Walk down to Dominus Flevit, the teardrop-shaped chapel where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. At the foot of the hill you visit the Church of All Nations and the old olive trees of Gethsemane.
Cross the Kidron Valley and enter the Old City by Lions' Gate. You see the Pools of Bethesda from the Gospel of John and the Crusader Church of St. Anne, built over the grotto honored as Mary's birthplace.
Below the Convent of the Sisters of Zion you see a Second Temple era cistern and the Roman paving stones linked to the judgment of Jesus by Pilate. From there you set out on the Via Dolorosa toward Golgotha.
Spend a quiet evening at your hotel. Breakfast is served before the final day in Jericho and Bethlehem.
After hotel pickup, drive east past the Inn of the Good Samaritan. You look down into Wadi Qelt at the cliff-side Monastery of St. George, then continue to the sea level marker.
In Jericho, one of the oldest cities in the world, you see the sycamore tree linked to Zacchaeus the tax collector. The Mount of Temptation, where Jesus fasted for 40 days, rises behind the town.
In Bethlehem you cross Manger Square and stoop through the low Door of Humility into the Church of the Nativity. Visits to the birth grotto are not always possible when the church is crowded. Next door, St. Catherine's Church sits above the cave where St. Jerome translated the Bible into Latin.
Your last stop is the Shepherds' Field, where the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds. It is a calm place to close five days in the Holy Land.
Ride back in the air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, where the tour ends. You leave with five days of Gospel places to remember.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) bring mild weather. Summer is hot, especially at the Dead Sea. Winter brings some rain in Jerusalem and the Galilee but fewer crowds. Christmas and Easter are popular, so book early for those weeks.
First-time visitors usually start with Jerusalem, then add Masada and the Dead Sea, and the Galilee. A 4 to 5 day package covers all three with hotels and a guide, so you only plan your flights. Our 5 day Christian Israel tour and 5 day Jewish Israel tour both start at about $970 per person.
Join a group day tour instead of hiring a private guide. The Jerusalem full day tour starts at $75 per adult with hotel pickup and entrance fees included. If you want to stay overnight, the Christian Jerusalem 2 day tour starts at $296 with a hotel night.
Reliable Holy Land operators use licensed Israeli guides, list what entrance fees and meals are included, and give clear pickup times. They differ mostly on group size, hotel level and how flexible their dates are.
