This Petra Wadi Rum Dead Sea tour fits Jordan's three classic experiences into 4 days. You spend a full day in Petra, sleep in a Bedouin camp deep in Wadi Rum, explore the desert by jeep and on foot, and finish with a float in the Dead Sea. Transport, an English-speaking licensed guide, a local Bedouin host, 3 breakfasts, a picnic lunch and 2 dinners are part of the package.
Day 1 starts with pickup at Amman airport and a drive of about 3 hours to your hotel in Petra. Day 2 is all about Petra, followed by a drive to Rum Village and a jeep ride to your desert camp. Day 3 brings jeep rides, short canyon walks, a picnic lunch and a sand dune before the drive to the Dead Sea. Day 4 is free at the Dead Sea until your transfer to the airport.
This Petra Wadi Rum Dead Sea tour suits first-time visitors with limited time, couples and friends who want one night in the desert, and anyone flying in and out of Amman. Four days is enough to see each place properly without packing up every morning, and the long drives are split across the trip. The relaxed last day at the Dead Sea gives you time to rest before your flight home.
Your driver meets you at Queen Alia International Airport on arrival. You sleep in 3-star hotels in Petra and at the Dead Sea, plus one night in a Bedouin camp. Prices are per person in a shared double room for 2 or more travelers, or a single room if you travel solo, and children and infants pay lower rates on the shared room option. 4-star and 5-star upgrades are available as extras, and the booking form shows the exact price for your option and number of travelers. The tour is non-refundable because the nights are pre-paid. Compare our 4 day Jordan tour with Aqaba and a Wadi Rum camp, browse more 3 to 5 day tours or see all Jordan package tours. The tour departs daily, subject to availability, so choose your date and book your Petra Wadi Rum Dead Sea tour today.

Your Petra Wadi Rum Dead Sea tour begins at Queen Alia International Airport. As you leave immigration and baggage claim, your driver is waiting with a sign showing your name. Pickup follows your flight time.
The drive to Petra takes about 3 hours. No sightseeing is planned today, so you can rest after your flight. If you have energy left, Petra by Night can be booked locally at extra cost.
Check in at your 3-star hotel in Petra and get a good night of sleep before the big day.
After breakfast you have the whole day in Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk to the Treasury, the detailed facade carved into the cliff, then continue past tombs, an amphitheater and other monuments of the Nabatean city. Our Petra visit guide helps you plan your route.
At the end of the day you drive about an hour and a half south to Rum Village, where your Bedouin host meets you. From there you continue into Wadi Rum by jeep.
Your camp sits in a quiet, secluded part of the desert, with a traditional tent made of goat hair and simple facilities. Dinner is served at camp, and breakfast is ready in the morning.
After breakfast a 30-minute jeep ride takes you into the desert, followed by a 45-minute walk past the small rock arch of Jebel Um Fruth. A short ride later you walk through the eroded cliffs of Abu Khashaba canyon, then circle the Jebel Burdah massif to spot its rock bridge. All of this lies inside the Wadi Rum Protected Area.
Lunch is a picnic in a shady spot, followed by tea brewed over a wood fire and a short siesta. In the afternoon the jeep passes Lawrence's House and ancient rock inscriptions, then stops at a big sand dune you can climb and run down barefoot.
Your driver meets you in Wadi Rum Village for the drive of about 3.5 hours north to the Dead Sea. Float in its warm, salty water when you arrive.
Dinner is included tonight, and you sleep at a 3-star hotel at the Dead Sea.
After breakfast the day is yours, depending on your flight time. Take another float, relax at the hotel or simply enjoy the view across the water.
Agree the pickup time with your driver so you leave the Dead Sea no later than 3 hours before your flight. The tour ends at Queen Alia International Airport.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.
