Two weeks is the sweet spot for this region, and this 14 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour uses it well. You get an easy arrival day in Tel Aviv, four guided days across Israel, Petra and the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan, two full days in Cairo and a 5-star Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, with your last night on board before the flight home.
Day 1 is your airport pickup and check-in in Tel Aviv. Days 2 to 5 take you to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, Caesarea, Haifa and Acre, Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and Masada and the Dead Sea. On day 6 you fly to Ramon Airport and cross into Jordan for Petra, and day 7 brings a jeep safari in Wadi Rum, free time in Eilat and a night transfer to Cairo. Days 8 and 9 cover the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, Khan el-Khalili, Saqqara and Old Cairo. From day 10 you are on the Nile, visiting Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temple before you fly out on day 14.
This 14 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour is a good match for first-time visitors who want to see everything without rushing, Christian travelers who want the key Gospel sites, and anyone who has dreamed of a Nile cruise. The arrival day and the final night on the ship add breathing room at both ends, so the trip feels like a holiday and not a race. Couples, friends and families with older children all fit the pace well.
A driver meets you at Ben Gurion Airport on day 1, and the Israel day tours start from the Dan Hotel meeting point in Tel Aviv between 07:15 and 07:30. Hotels are on a bed and breakfast basis, and the cruise is full board. Choose 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels, priced per person in a double room for 2 or more travelers or as a single room if you travel solo, and the booking form shows the exact price for your hotel level and travelers. The tour departs daily, subject to availability. Because hotels, flights and the cruise are pre-paid, the 14 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour is non-refundable. Numbers match the itinerary below. Solid lines are walking legs, dashed lines are drives. Map is for orientation only.
A driver meets you at Ben Gurion Airport and takes you straight to your hotel in Tel Aviv. The rest of the day is free to rest and settle in. You spend the night in Tel Aviv.
Meet the group at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv between 07:15 and 07:30 and drive across the Armageddon plain with a view of Megiddo. In Nazareth you stop at the Mount of Precipitation and tour the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Church of Saint Joseph, then pass Cana on the way to the Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum. After a drive along the Sea of Galilee, an optional baptism at Yardenit and a view of Mount Tabor, you return to Tel Aviv for the night.
From the same meeting point you follow the coast to the Roman theater, hippodrome and temple ruins of Caesarea, then the Bahai Gardens and Shrine in Haifa. A cable car takes you down into the sea grottoes of Rosh Hanikra. The day ends with a guided walk through the Crusader city and old Turkish prison of Acre before you return to your hotel for the night.
See Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, visit Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, and walk the Old City from Zion Gate along the Cardo to the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon you cross into Bethlehem for Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity, passing the Fields of Ruth on the way back. Bring your passport, and note that Israeli citizens cannot enter Bethlehem. You spend the night at your hotel.
Drive through the Judean Desert past the Inn of the Good Samaritan and the sea level marker to Masada. The cable car takes you up to Herod's palaces, the Roman barracks and the ancient synagogue. The afternoon is for a mud bath and a float in the Dead Sea before your last night in Tel Aviv.
Early in the morning you transfer to the airport in Tel Aviv for a domestic flight to Ramon Airport, where a driver takes you straight to the Arava border. In Jordan your qualified guide leads a full tour of Petra, including the Treasury, the amphitheater, the royal tombs and the temples, followed by a local lunch. You spend the night at a hotel or in a desert tent in Wadi Rum.
After breakfast a 4x4 jeep safari takes you through Wadi Rum to see ancient rock inscriptions and learn about Bedouin life. You then cross back into Eilat for a few free hours. At about 22:00 a driver takes you to the Taba border, and your Egyptian driver continues on the 10-hour overland journey to Cairo while you sleep on the way.
You arrive in Cairo in the morning and head to the Giza Plateau for the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. Next is the Egyptian Museum, with its mummies, colossal statues and ancient treasures. A walk through the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar ends the day before you check in to your Cairo hotel.
In the morning you drive to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser and learn how ancient Egyptian architecture developed. Back in the capital you tour Old Cairo, with its fortifications, monumental gateways and Coptic churches. You spend a second night at your Cairo hotel.
An early flight takes you from Cairo to Aswan and a transfer brings you to your 5-star cruise ship. In the afternoon you visit the Aswan High Dam and take a motorboat to Agilika Island for the Temple of Philae. A felucca sail ends the day, followed by dinner and the night on board.
As the ship sails, you go ashore at Kom Ombo for the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris. You then cruise to Edfu to tour the Temple of Horus, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. The ship continues toward Luxor, with dinner and the night on board.
Explore the West Bank of Luxor, with the Theban Necropolis, three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. You return to the ship for lunch and a free afternoon. Dinner and traditional entertainment follow on board, with an optional sound and light show at Karnak on request.
After breakfast you tour the East Bank of Luxor, starting with the vast Karnak Temple complex, the largest ancient religious site ever built. You continue to the majestic Luxor Temple. Then it is back to the ship for your final night on board.
After breakfast you check out of the cruise ship. A transfer takes you to the airport for your flight home. This is the end of the tour.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.
