If you want to see this region properly, once, this 17 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour is the most complete route we offer from Tel Aviv. It brings together five guided days in Israel, two days around Petra, a night climb of Mount Sinai for the sunrise, a 5-star Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and unhurried time in Cairo at the end.
After your arrival on day 1, days 2 to 6 cover Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, the Mediterranean coast from Caesarea to Acre, Jerusalem and Yad Vashem, Bethlehem, and Masada and the Dead Sea, followed by a flight to Eilat. Days 7 and 8 are in Petra, with a guided tour and a free morning, before a night transfer to Mount Sinai. Day 9 starts on the summit at sunrise and continues to Saint Catherine's Monastery and Cairo. Day 10 covers Giza, Saqqara and Memphis, days 11 to 14 are on the Nile, and days 15 to 17 bring the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel, a free day and your flight home.
This 17 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour suits travelers who want depth rather than speed: pilgrims who want both the Gospel sites and Mount Sinai, history lovers, and anyone who prefers a free morning in Petra and a full leisure day in Cairo to a nonstop schedule. With five nights in Tel Aviv, a night near Petra and three nights on the Nile, you unpack less often than on shorter routes. The Sinai climb does need a reasonable level of fitness.
A driver meets you at Ben Gurion Airport on day 1, and the Israel day tours start from the Dan Hotel meeting point in Tel Aviv between 07:15 and 07:30. Hotels are on a bed and breakfast basis, and the cruise is full board. Choose 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels, priced per person in a double room for 2 or more travelers or as a single room if you travel solo, and the booking form shows the exact price for your hotel level and travelers. The tour departs daily, subject to availability. Because hotels, flights and the cruise are pre-paid, the 17 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour is non-refundable. Compare our 20 day Israel, Jordan and Egypt tour, the Petra 2 day tour from Eilat and our Israel package tours. Pick your date and book today.

A driver meets you at Ben Gurion Airport and takes you straight to your hotel in Tel Aviv. After check-in the evening is free to relax or explore. You spend the night in Tel Aviv.
Meet the group at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv between 07:15 and 07:30 and drive across the Armageddon plain with a view of Megiddo. You stop at the Mount of Precipitation, tour the Churches of the Annunciation and Saint Joseph in Nazareth, then pass Cana on the way to the Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum. After a drive along the Sea of Galilee, an optional baptism at Yardenit and a view of Mount Tabor, you return to Tel Aviv for the night.
Follow the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea for its Roman theater, hippodrome and temple ruins, then visit the Bahai Gardens and Shrine in Haifa. A cable car takes you down into the sea grottoes of Rosh Hanikra. A guided walk through the Crusader city and old Turkish prison in Acre ends the day, and you return to Tel Aviv for the night.
Start at the Mount of Olives, Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, then walk the Old City from Zion Gate through the Cardo to the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After time in the local markets, the afternoon ends at Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial and museum. You return to Tel Aviv for the night.
Drive past the Inn of the Good Samaritan to the sea level marker, with a view toward Jericho and the Mount of Temptation in the distance. In Bethlehem you cross Manger Square and tour the Church of the Nativity, with the silver star, the Manger and the Altar of the Three Wise Men, plus the Crusader Church of Saint Catherine. Bring your passport, and note that Israeli citizens cannot enter Bethlehem, which is in Area A. You pass the Milk Grotto and the Shepherds' Fields on the way back to Tel Aviv for the night.
Drive south through the Judean Desert past Ein Gedi and the Qumran caves to Masada, and ride the cable car up to Herod's palaces, the Roman barracks and the ancient synagogue. The afternoon is for a float in the Dead Sea. You then transfer to the airport for a flight to Eilat, or travel overland from Jerusalem to Eilat on Fridays, and spend the night in Eilat.
At about 08:30 you transfer to the Arava border, cross into Jordan and meet your driver for the two-hour drive to Petra. A full guided tour takes in the Treasury, the amphitheater, the royal tombs, caves and temples. In the evening you can join the optional candlelit Petra by Night experience, and you spend the night at your hotel in Petra.
The morning is free to walk back into Petra, browse the local markets or rest at your hotel. At about 16:00 you transfer back to Eilat for a few free hours and dinner. At 21:00 you head to the Taba border and cross into Egypt, where a driver takes you to Mount Sinai to start your night trek under the stars.
You reach the summit of Mount Sinai in the early hours to watch the sun rise over the desert mountains. On the way down you visit Saint Catherine's Monastery, with its 6th-century church, the Burning Bush, Jethro's Well and one of the oldest working libraries in the world. A scenic drive then takes you to Cairo, where you check in to your hotel for the night.
Your guide meets you for the Giza Plateau, the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza, with the chance of a short camel ride. You continue to Saqqara for the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the Pyramid of King Teti, followed by a local lunch. The day ends at Memphis, where the open-air museum holds a giant statue of Ramses II, and you spend the night in Cairo.
A domestic flight takes you from Cairo to Aswan and a transfer brings you to your 5-star cruise ship for three nights, starting with lunch on board. In the afternoon you visit the Aswan High Dam and take a motorboat to Agilika Island for the Temple of Philae. A felucca sail ends the day, followed by dinner, a traditional Nubian show and the night on board.
As the ship sails, you go ashore at Kom Ombo for the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Back on board, you cruise to Edfu to tour the remarkably well preserved Temple of Horus. The ship continues toward Luxor, with dinner and the night on board.
Explore the West Bank of Luxor, with the Theban Necropolis, three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. You return to the ship for lunch and a free afternoon. Dinner and traditional entertainment follow, and you spend your last night on board.
After breakfast you leave the ship and tour the vast Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you transfer to Luxor Airport for the flight back to Cairo. You are met on arrival and taken to your Cairo hotel for the night.
The day starts at the Egyptian Museum and its unmatched collection of ancient treasures. You then explore Cairo's historic center with its Coptic churches, the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Back at your hotel, optional evening tours and cruises can be arranged on request, and you spend the night in Cairo.
Today is yours to explore Cairo at your own pace, shop for souvenirs or simply relax after a full trip. It is also a good day to add an optional excursion, such as the Alexandria day tour. You spend your last night at your Cairo hotel.
After breakfast you check out of your hotel. A transfer takes you to Cairo Airport for your international flight home. This is the end of the tour.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.
