Overview

Two weeks is the sweet spot for this region, and this 14 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour uses it well. You get an easy arrival day in Tel Aviv, four guided days across Israel, Petra and the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan, two full days in Cairo and a 5-star Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, with your last night on board before the flight home.

Day 1 is your airport pickup and check-in in Tel Aviv. Days 2 to 5 take you to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, Caesarea, Haifa and Acre, Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and Masada and the Dead Sea. On day 6 you fly to Ramon Airport and cross into Jordan for Petra, and day 7 brings a jeep safari in Wadi Rum, free time in Eilat and a night transfer to Cairo. Days 8 and 9 cover the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, Khan el-Khalili, Saqqara and Old Cairo. From day 10 you are on the Nile, visiting Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temple before you fly out on day 14.

This 14 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour is a good match for first-time visitors who want to see everything without rushing, Christian travelers who want the key Gospel sites, and anyone who has dreamed of a Nile cruise. The arrival day and the final night on the ship add breathing room at both ends, so the trip feels like a holiday and not a race. Couples, friends and families with older children all fit the pace well.

A driver meets you at Ben Gurion Airport on day 1, and the Israel day tours start from the Dan Hotel meeting point in Tel Aviv between 07:15 and 07:30. Hotels are on a bed and breakfast basis, and the cruise is full board. Choose 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels, priced per person in a double room for 2 or more travelers or as a single room if you travel solo, and the booking form shows the exact price for your hotel level and travelers. The tour departs daily, subject to availability. Because hotels, flights and the cruise are pre-paid, the 14 day Israel Jordan Egypt tour is non-refundable. No. The Jordan visa and border tax and the Egypt visa and border tax are not included and are paid at the crossings. Bring cash for these fees. Our Israel Jordan border crossing guide explains each step.

Do I need a passport, and can Israeli citizens enter Bethlehem?

Carry a valid passport for the whole trip, since you cross into Jordan, back into Israel and into Egypt. Bethlehem is in Area A of the West Bank, and Israeli citizens are not allowed to enter it on day 4. Egypt runs its official e-visa service at visa2egypt.gov.eg, so check your nationality there before you travel.

A driver meets you at Ben Gurion Airport on day 1 and takes you to your Tel Aviv hotel. From day 2 the Israel day tours start at the Dan Hotel meeting point in Tel Aviv between 07:15 and 07:30.

Where will I sleep?

You spend 5 nights in Israel, 1 night at a hotel or desert tent in Wadi Rum, 2 nights in Cairo and your last nights on a 5-star Nile cruise ship.
