This 14 day jordan and egypt tour links the two great desert kingdoms in one guided trip, with the flights between them already arranged. In Egypt you see the pyramids, cruise the Nile from Aswan to Luxor and explore Cairo's museum and old city. In Jordan you visit the desert castles, the Dead Sea, Jerash, Madaba, two days at Petra and Wadi Rum by jeep. Hotels, a 3-night Nile cruise with all meals, domestic flights and entrance fees are included.
Days 1 and 2 are in Cairo, with Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. On day 3 you fly to Aswan and board your cruise ship for Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor's West Bank. Day 6 covers Karnak and Luxor temples before the flight back to Cairo, and day 7 is the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and the Citadel. On day 8 you fly to Amman. Days 9 and 10 cover the desert castles, the Dead Sea, Jerash and Ajloun. Days 11 and 12 take you through Madaba and Mount Nebo to Petra, day 13 is Wadi Rum and the return to Amman, and day 14 is your departure.
It is built for travelers who want the full picture of both countries in a single, well organized trip. Two weeks gives each highlight proper time: three nights on the river, two nights at Petra and several days in each capital, without the stress of planning flights and border logistics yourself. History lovers, couples and families looking for a once-in-a-lifetime Jordan and Egypt tour will find the pace comfortable.
A driver meets you at Cairo airport on day 1, and you fly home from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman on day 14. Choose 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels, per person in a double room for 2 or more travelers or a single room if you travel solo. A lower child rate applies on the double room options, and the booking form shows the exact price for your hotel level and number of travelers. The tour departs daily, subject to availability, and is non-refundable because hotels, flights and the cruise are pre-paid.
