Jericho is one of the oldest cities in the world and an oasis of palms in the Jordan Valley. Our tours visit the Mount of Temptation and Qasr al-Yahud, the baptism site on the Jordan River, and many combine them with Bethlehem or the Dead Sea. There are 20 tours from $116 per person.

Jericho is in the West Bank, so bring your passport. If you want to enter the water at the baptism site, bring a white robe or buy one there, and a towel. The Jordan Valley is hot most of the year, so bring water and sun protection.

Can I be baptized at Qasr al-Yahud?
Yes, visitors can enter the Jordan River at the baptism site. Bring a white robe or buy one there, plus a towel and a change of clothes.
Do I need my passport for Jericho?
Yes. Jericho is in the West Bank. Tell us your passport when you book, as rules differ for Israeli citizens.
Can I cancel?
Each tour page shows its cancellation terms before you pay. Tours with flights or pre-paid hotel nights are non-refundable once booked. If we cancel or materially change a tour, you choose between another date, a credit or a refund.
