Israel Package Tours
From Roman ruins on the Mediterranean to volcanic peaks above the Syrian border, this caesarea and golan heights 2 day tour covers more of northern Israel than almost any short trip. Day 1 follows the coast, day 2 climbs the Golan, and a licensed English-speaking guide stays with your group the whole way. Hotel pickup in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and one night in a tourist class hotel with breakfast are included.
Day 1 starts in Caesarea, the port city King Herod built to honor Rome, with its seaside theater and hippodrome. Next come the terraced Baha'i Gardens in Haifa, a cable car ride down to the sea grottoes of Rosh Hanikra on the Lebanese border, and the Crusader old city of Acre. Day 2 moves inland to the Golan Heights for the Shalom Observatory, ancient Katzrin and its museum, and the old army outpost on Mount Bental.
This Caesarea and Golan Heights 2 day tour is perfect for history buffs, photographers and first-time visitors who want real variety: ruins, gardens, sea caves, castles and mountain views in one package. There is no way to see the coast and the Golan properly in a single day. Two days give the coast its own full day, with time to walk the lanes of Acre, and then give the Golan a full day of its own.
Pickup is at around 07:15 from Tel Aviv hotels or 06:00 from Jerusalem hotels, and you are dropped back in the same city after day 2. Rooms take a maximum of 2 adults, so book a double room to share or a single room for yourself, and the booking form shows the per person price for your date. Since the hotel night is prepaid, this package is non-refundable. Only have one day? Try the Caesarea, Haifa and Acre tour. Numbers match the itinerary below. Solid lines are walking legs, dashed lines are drives. Map is for orientation only.
Your guide meets you at your hotel at around 07:15 in Tel Aviv or 06:00 in Jerusalem, and we confirm the exact time the day before. The route heads up the Mediterranean coast past Herzliya and Netanya, so the first stop comes early.
Explore Caesarea, the harbor city King Herod built and named for Caesar Augustus. Sit in the Roman theater, which still hosts concerts today, walk beside the remains of the seaside hippodrome and see the base of the temple that once looked over the port. The Crusaders later added the gate, walls and moat you pass through.
Drive north to Haifa for a stop at the Baha'i Gardens, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nineteen terraces of flowers and neat lawns step down Mount Carmel around the golden-domed Shrine of the Bab, with Haifa Bay spread out beyond.
Continue to Israel's northern tip at Rosh Hanikra, right on the border with Lebanon. A short, steep cable car ride takes you down the white chalk cliff to grottoes carved by the waves, where the sea glows blue inside the tunnels.
Head back south to Acre, a UNESCO-listed port and the best preserved Crusader city in Israel. See the sea walls that Ahmed al-Jazzar rebuilt in the late 18th century, strong enough to stop Napoleon in 1799. Your guide points out the Ottoman citadel and prison, later used by the British, before you wander the busy market lanes.
Check in to your tourist class hotel for the night. The hotel name and location are on your booking voucher. Enjoy a free evening after a long day on the coast, then have breakfast at the hotel before heading for the Golan.
After breakfast, set out for the Sea of Galilee. Pause above its southern shore for a wide view of the lake framed by the Golan cliffs, then cross the Jordan River and climb past the Roman-era hot springs of Hamat Gader.
The Shalom Observatory sits on the western edge of the Golan, high above the lake. Look across to Tiberias and you will understand at once why armies fought for these heights. It is one of the best photo stops of the trip.
End your touring on Mount Bental, a high volcanic cone with old army trenches and bunkers you can walk through. To the east lie Syria and the town of Quneitra, and on a clear day Mount Hermon fills the northern sky.
The long drive south gives you time to look through your photos. You reach your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem in the evening, depending on traffic.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.
Tour ends with: Drop-off at your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem

Breakfast at the hotel on day 2 is included. Lunches on both days and dinner on the first night are not, and your guide will stop at good places to eat along the way.
