Israel Package Tours
Three of Israel's biggest names, one easy trip: this Jerusalem Masada Dead Sea 2 day tour gives Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea the time they deserve. Day 1 covers the Old City, a taste of modern Jerusalem and Yad Vashem. Day 2 takes you below sea level to Herod's desert fortress and a float in the saltiest water you will ever see. A licensed English-speaking guide leads both days, and your hotel night with breakfast is already arranged.
On day 1 you start with the classic view from the Mount of Olives, then walk through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to the Byzantine Cardo and the Western Wall. You follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, exit through the market and Jaffa Gate, and end the day at Yad Vashem. On day 2 the road drops through the Judean Desert to Masada, where a cable car lifts you to the summit. After the fortress you drive past Ein Gedi and Qumran and finish with free time on a Dead Sea beach.
This trip suits first-time visitors, history fans and anyone who wants the big three without a marathon day. Squeezing all of it into one day means rushing the Old City and getting only a quick dip. The Jerusalem Masada Dead Sea 2 day tour gives each place its own day, so you have time for Yad Vashem, an unhurried walk on Masada and a proper soak. You sleep in a hotel in between instead of spending extra hours on the bus.
Pickup is from your hotel in Tel Aviv at about 07:15 or in Jerusalem at about 08:30, and you are dropped back at your hotel on the evening of day 2. You stay 1 night in a tourist class hotel with breakfast, named on your voucher. Choose a double, triple or single room, and the booking form shows the exact per-person price for your date, room type and pickup city. The package is non-refundable because the hotel night is pre-paid. Short on time? Numbers match the itinerary below. Solid lines are walking legs, dashed lines are drives. Map is for orientation only.
Your guide and air-conditioned coach collect you from your hotel in Tel Aviv at about 07:15, or in Jerusalem at about 08:30. Pickups can start 30 to 60 minutes earlier, and we confirm the exact time the day before. Bring your overnight bag with you, since tonight you stay at the tour hotel.
Start above the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives, with the Old City and the Temple Mount spread out below. Your guide shows where the First and Second Temples once stood. You also spot the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations and the old tombs of the Kidron Valley.
Enter the UNESCO-listed Old City through Zion Gate and cross the Armenian Quarter into the Jewish Quarter. Walk the 1,500-year-old Byzantine Cardo, where Crusader-era vaults now hold modern shops. Then stand at the Western Wall, built by Herod to hold up the Temple Mount and a place of Jewish prayer since the Temple fell in 70 CE.
Follow the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, as pilgrims have for centuries. It leads to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built over the traditional site of the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus. Much of what you see today comes from the Crusader rebuild, which kept parts of the older Byzantine church.
Leave through the busy market and Jaffa Gate for a short drive through modern Jerusalem. The day ends at Yad Vashem, where photos and personal objects tell how Jewish communities across Europe were persecuted and destroyed. It also honors the Righteous Among the Nations, non-Jews who put their own lives on the line to help. Children under 10 are not admitted.
Check in to your tourist class hotel, named on your booking voucher. The evening is yours, so have dinner on your own and rest up for the desert. Breakfast is served the next morning before day 2 begins.
After breakfast the road leaves Jerusalem and drops through the wilderness of the Bible. You pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan and pause where a marker shows you have reached sea level. Look out for Jericho in the distance, the city of Joshua's falling walls.
Follow the white, salt-crusted shore south to Masada, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Skip the steep Snake Path and ride the cable car to the top. Walk among Herod's palaces, storerooms, cisterns and the synagogue, and hear how Jewish rebels held out here against Rome for about three years.
End the day on a beach at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on land on Earth. The water is so salty that you float without trying, even if you cannot swim. Take your time in the mineral-rich water before you rinse off and change.
Relax on the drive back up from the desert. You are dropped at your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem in the evening, with the exact time depending on traffic.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.
