Overview

This 8 day Jordan tour from Amman covers the country from the Roman ruins of the north to the red desert of Wadi Rum in the south. Besides the big names like Petra, Jerash and the Dead Sea, it takes you to Pella and Umm Qais, two quieter sites in the Jordan Valley with views across to the Sea of Galilee. A licensed English-speaking guide, entrance fees to all sites on the program, a 4x4 ride in Wadi Rum and seven hotel nights with breakfast are included.

8 Day Jordan Tour from Amman: Route and Highlights

You land in Amman and spend four nights there: day 2 is a city tour, day 3 combines a Dead Sea float with Pella and Umm Qais, and day 4 covers Jerash and Ajloun Castle. On day 5 you drive the Kings' Way past Madaba, Mount Nebo, Wadi Mujib and Kerak Castle to Petra, where you spend two nights and a full day inside the site. Day 7 brings Wadi Rum, a short stop in Aqaba if time allows and the return to Amman, and day 8 is your airport transfer.

This 8 day Jordan tour from Amman suits first-time visitors who want the full picture, history lovers who care about Roman cities and Crusader castles as much as Petra, and Bible readers who want to see Gadara and Mount Nebo. Eight days means you are never racing. Using Amman as a base for the first four nights cuts down on packing, and the free afternoon on day 2 gives you time to explore the capital on your own.

Arrival and departure transfers at Amman airport are part of the package. Choose 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels, priced per person in a shared double room for 2 or more travelers, or as a single room if you travel solo. Children and infants pay lower rates on the shared room options, and the booking form shows the exact price for your option and number of travelers. Because all hotel nights are pre-paid, the tour is non-refundable. Compare our 8 day Jordan tour with the desert castles, browse other 6 to 8 day tours or see all Jordan package tours. The tour departs daily, subject to availability, so pick your date and book your 8 day Jordan tour from Amman today.
