Israel Package Tours
From Herod's desert fortress to a Talmudic synagogue in the Golan, this 4 day Jewish Israel tour follows 3,000 years of Jewish history across the whole country. You float in the Dead Sea, walk beneath Jerusalem in the City of David, explore the coast from Caesarea to Acre and finish high in the Golan Heights. That is four fully guided days and three hotel nights, with a guide who ties every stop back to the story of the Jewish people.
Day 1 heads down through the Judean Desert to Masada and its last stand against Rome, then on to a Dead Sea beach. Day 2 goes deep into Jewish Jerusalem, with King David's Tomb, the Sephardic synagogues, the Herodian mansions, the Western Wall and the City of David. Day 3 covers Caesarea, the Baha'i Gardens in Haifa, the Rosh Hanikra grottoes and Acre, where Jewish underground fighters were held by the British. Day 4 climbs into the Golan for the ancient village at Katzrin and the lookout on Mount Bental.
This 4 day Jewish Israel tour suits families, Jewish heritage travelers and first-time visitors who want to understand the country, not just photograph it. Each region gets a full day, so you are not racing from the desert to the border in a single trip. Four days is long enough to cover the south, Jerusalem, the coast and the north, and short enough to fit around a city stay in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
On day 1, pickup is from your hotel in Tel Aviv at around 07:15 or in Jerusalem at around 08:30, and on the northern days it is often earlier. You stay 3 nights in tourist class hotels with breakfast, confirmed on your booking voucher. Rooms take a maximum of 2 adults, so choose a double room for 2 travelers or a single room if you travel solo, and the booking form shows the exact per person price. Masada park entrance with the cable car is paid on the day. The 4 day Jewish Israel tour is non-refundable because the hotel nights are pre-paid. Want to add more? See the City of David tour in Jerusalem, the Golan Heights day tour or all 3 to 5 day Israel tours. Pick an open date on the calendar and reserve your seats today.
Numbers match the itinerary below. Solid lines are walking legs, dashed lines are drives. Map is for orientation only.
Pickup from Tel Aviv hotels is at around 07:15, and from Jerusalem hotels at around 08:30. Pickups can start 30 to 60 minutes earlier, and we confirm your exact time the day before. The road drops from Jerusalem past the Inn of the Good Samaritan and the sea level marker into the Judean Desert.
Take the cable car up to Masada, where Herod built palaces, cisterns and even a synagogue on a desert plateau. Your guide tells how about 960 Jewish rebels held out here against the Roman army, a story that still shapes Israeli identity. The park entrance with the round-trip cable car is paid on the day.
Pass the oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid from King Saul, and the caves of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. The day ends with a swim at the Dead Sea, where the mineral-rich water keeps you floating with no effort.
Check in to your tourist class hotel, which is named on your booking voucher. Dinner is not included, so the evening is free. Breakfast is served the next morning before day 2.
After breakfast you are collected from your hotel and look over the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives. You then drive the Kidron Valley, past the tombs of Absalom and Zechariah, to King David's Tomb on Mount Zion.
Inside Zion Gate you visit the Four Sephardic Synagogues, found in ruins in 1967 and fully restored since. You walk the Byzantine Cardo and see the 2,700-year-old Broad Wall built in the days of King Hezekiah.
Go beneath the Jewish Quarter into 2,000-year-old mansions with original mosaics and ritual baths. Then stand at the Western Wall, once part of the outer wall of the Second Temple compound, and leave a prayer note between the stones.
Exit through Dung Gate to the City of David, the 3,000-year-old city of King David. You see how Hezekiah's engineers brought water inside the walls, and rest at the Gihon Spring where Solomon was anointed king.
Return to your tourist class hotel for a free evening. Breakfast is included the next morning before the drive up the coast.
Head up the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, Herod's grand port city. You see the Roman theater, the hippodrome and the temple platform that once overlooked ships bound for Rome.
In Haifa you stop to see the Baha'i Shrine and its 19 garden terraces running down Mount Carmel. The view across Haifa Bay is one of the best on the coast.
At the Lebanese border, a cable car takes you down the white cliff to the Rosh Hanikra grottoes. Waves have carved these sea caves out of the chalk over thousands of years.
Walk the walls of Acre that even Napoleon could not break, and the Crusader halls beneath the town. You also see the prison and gallows where the British held and executed Jewish underground fighters during the Mandate.
Check in to your tourist class hotel for the final night, named on your booking voucher. Breakfast is served before the Golan day.
After breakfast you drive north through the Jezreel Valley with a view of Megiddo, the biblical Armageddon. From a lookout above the south end of the Sea of Galilee you see the lake with the Golan Heights rising behind it, then cross the Jordan River past Hamat Gader.
After the Shalom Observatory view over Tiberias, you walk through a Talmudic-era village at Katzrin with a basalt synagogue and an oil press. The local museum tells the story of Gamla, a Jewish town that fought Rome in the Second Temple era.
Climb through old Syrian bunkers and trenches on Mount Bental, taken by Israel in 1967. From the top you look over the UN buffer zone to Quneitra in Syria.
The drive back south ends at your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. You finish with four full days of Jewish history behind you, from the desert to the northern border.
You choose your pickup city when you book. We confirm the exact pickup time and place by email or WhatsApp the day before the tour.
