Your Israel highlights 4 day tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Tel Aviv at 07:15, or in Jerusalem at 08:30, in an air-conditioned minivan. The road climbs into the hills to Jerusalem.
The day opens with a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives over the Old City walls and the Temple Mount. On the drive you also pass the Garden of Gethsemane and see parts of the new city.
You enter the Old City through the Armenian Quarter and reach the Western Wall. From there you follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, then walk the Byzantine Cardo, more than 1,700 years old, through the Jewish Quarter.
The tour climbs to Mount Zion. On Saturdays you visit the Room of the Last Supper and David's Tomb, and on all other days you visit Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial and museum.
You are driven back to your hotel for the night. Breakfast is served at the hotel the next morning.
After pickup from your hotel you drive north along the Mediterranean to Caesarea. Your guide walks you through the excavations, with the restored Roman theater still used for concerts, the hippodrome, a moat, gateways and the remains of a Roman temple.
In Haifa you visit the Baha'i Shrine and the famous Baha'i Gardens, laid out on 19 terraces down the slope of Mount Carmel. The view over the terraces to the bay is one of the best known in Israel.
Further north, at the border with Lebanon, a cable car takes you down the white cliffs to the sea grottoes of Rosh Hanikra. Waves have carved the chalk into caves and tunnels.
On the way back you stop in Acre, a walled Crusader city that has survived remarkably well. You visit the old prison, used under Ottoman rule and later by the British, who executed Jewish underground fighters there after World War II, and you are back at your hotel around 18:00.
The evening is free. Breakfast is served at your hotel the next morning.
Pickup from your hotel in Tel Aviv runs between 07:20 and 07:50. The drive takes you down through the desert to the lowest place on earth.
You arrive at the Dead Sea around 09:30 and have beach access for the day. Float in the salty water, rest in the shade, and enjoy lunch, which is included today.
At 15:30 you start the drive back to Tel Aviv. You reach your hotel in the late afternoon.

Pickup is at 07:15 in Tel Aviv or 05:50 in Jerusalem. You drive north past Netanya and Herzliya and across the Armageddon plain, with a view of Megiddo and a stop at Mount Precipice.
In Nazareth your first stop is the Church of the Annunciation, built where tradition says the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. Next to it stands the Church of Saint Joseph.
Passing Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine, you reach the Sea of Galilee. At the foot of the Mount of Beatitudes you tour Capernaum, the home of Peter, and visit the Benedictine church that marks the miracle of the loaves and fishes.
With the Golan Heights in view you pass Tiberias, and if you wish you can be baptized in the Jordan River. On the way back you pass Mount Tabor, the traditional site of the Transfiguration, and arrive in Tel Aviv around 18:00, where the tour ends.
